College Credit Plus Information Meeting

Annually, public schools are required to hold a College Credit Plus Informational Meeting; attendance is mandatory in order for a student to partcipate in the program. If you student missed the original meeting on February 12, 2025, see the flyer below for another opportunity.




Hamilton Local Schools CCP Letter of Intent

The following letter of intent is to be read and completed by the student enrolling in the College Credit Plus (CCP) Program, parent/guardian, and the student’s school counselor.  

The form is to be completed and submitted by April 1st of each school year. Failure to meet this deadline may result in a student being declared ineligible to participate in the College Credit Plus Program.

**Please note that this form in the first step in the College Credit Plus process.  Students must still apply and be accepted, as well as meet program eligibility requirements, through the college or university.**

Counseling Session for College Credit Plus Participation

Each public and participating nonpublic secondary school shall provide counseling services to students in grades six through eleven and to their parents before the students participate in the College Credit Plus program to ensure that students and parents are fully aware of the possible consequences and benefits of participation. This is primarily done through attendance of the mandatory annual College Credit Plus Information Meeting.

Where can I learn more?

College Credit Plus is Ohio’s dual enrollment program that provides students in grades 7-12 the opportunity to earn college and high school credits at the same time by taking courses from Ohio colleges or universities. The purpose of this program is to enhance students’ career readiness and postsecondary success, while providing a wide variety of options to college-ready students, at no or limited costs to students and families.
