Hamilton Local Schools is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. HLSD is undergoing a redesign for accessibility issues in 2023 to make our website accessible.

The website is undergoing a redesign for accessibility issues in 2023: Some images and design layers are not visible and have no text alternatives. Some documents are not accessible when using the browser to view PDFs, Excel, and Word files. We are working with the Office for Civil Rights to correct these errors in design.
