Become A Substitute At HLSD!

Did you know that you do not have to have a Bachelor's Degree to become a substitute teacher? We are currently looking for permanent, long-term, and daily substitute teachers. SUBSTITUTE POSTIONS:

Substitute Teacher Positions:

All substitute teachers who wish to work in our district must be hired through the Educational Services Center of Central Ohio (ESC). Any questions about becoming a substitute teacher should be directed to the ESC by calling (614) 445-3750 or via e-mail. You can also learn more on the ESC website.

If you have payroll questions in reference to days worked in the Hamilton Local Schools, please e-mail the ESC COG Payroll Department. Active substitute resources can be found HERE.

*Substitute Classified Positions:

Substitutes are called on an as-needed basis with no guarantee of a set number of hours per week/month/year. Substitutes work in various buildings and various hours. Click on the below position to start an application. You may choose multiple substitute positions within your one application.
