Hello Rangers!
My name is Kelly Altiers and I am a proud graduate of Hamilton Township High School! I grew up living in the Hamilton Meadows and attended Hamilton schools from Kindergarten through 12th grade. After graduating high school, I went to college and graduated from The Ohio State University. I also earned my Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from The Ohio State University.
I currently serve as principal of Hamilton Intermediate School. I started my career in 1995 as a teacher at Hamilton Middle School. After 8 years of teaching, I moved into the assistant principal role at the middle school. Throughout my career here at Hamilton, I have also served as the assistant principal of the high school and intermediate school before moving into the intermediate school principal position in 2015.
I love working with students and their families to help them achieve their goals. It is so exciting and rewarding to see former students come back into the school as parents with their children. I have been truly blessed to be part of such an amazing community and school district. I grew up a RANGER and will always be a RANGER!

My name is Chas McCutcheon and I joined the Hamilton Local School District in 2022. I taught middle school Visual Arts for 17 years before coming to Hamilton. This is my second year as the assistant principal at Hamilton Intermediate School, where I help our staff create a warm and welcoming environment for the students of Hamilton. Outside of the school day, I can be found coaching my children in soccer or wrestling. I have spent over 23 years coaching kids of all ages. One of the biggest joys in my life is watching my athletes and students become amazing members of their own communities.
In 2005 I earned Bachelor's degrees in Education, Psychology and Visual Arts while attending The University of Rio Grande. I later earned my Masters in Education from Ashland University.
I am very excited for the opportunity to work with the students and staff of Hamilton Intermediate. I am grateful that every day I am able to help the staff and students at HIS. I look forward to working with our families and community to help all of our Rangers succeed!
