Duncan Selected To Guide District's Office of Public Relations

Mrs. Kaitlin Duncan, the current Public Relations Specialist for Hamilton Local School District, has been named the new Director of Public Relations for the district. She will assume full responsibilities on May 11, 2021.


“Kaitlin has proven to be a hard working, dedicated employee for our district” HLSD Superintendent Mark Tyler explained. “With the loss of Vince Payne, Kaitlin has become a vital member of our district's administrative team. I have every confidence that she will make a smooth transition into the Director of Public Relations role.”


Kaitlin brings with her a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and Marketing Communications from Ohio Dominican University, a Master of Science in Business Psychology from Franklin University, several years of professional experience as a Marketing Manager for the Ohio Insurance Agents Association, and time as Account Executive with Involve, LLC, working on campaigns for fitness brands Les Mills and FunXion.


Kaitlin is also the Hamilton Middle School Cheerleading Coach, where she led the team to earning a first place trophy in their first year competing. She also serves on the Junior High Committee for Ohio High School Cheerleading Coaches Association.


“I am honored to have been selected as Hamilton Local Schools Director of Public Relations,” said Duncan. “The loss of Vince Payne was really tough for the entire district. I will do my best to keep Vince’s legacy alive and do what would’ve made him proud.”


Kaitlin's knowledge of our district and community, and her communication skills will enable her to be a very effective Director of Public Relations for our district.
