Hamilton Local Schools is delighted to announce the appointment of Terri Parks as the newest member of Hamilton Local Schools’ Board of Education. Ms. Parks brings a wealth of experience and dedication to the board and she is poised to serve the students and families in our community.
Ms. Parks serves as a Medicaid Health Systems Administrator and Specialist at the Ohio Department of Medicaid in Columbus. Her roles involved planning, evaluating, and directing activities related to Medicaid health systems, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, and collaborating with stakeholders to enhance program effectiveness.
Ms.Parks also has extensive experience at the Franklin County Department of Jobs and Family Services, where she served as a Training Officer and Office Manager, overseeing training initiatives, managing performance objectives, and supervising teams to deliver exceptional services to clients and staff.
“I’m so excited and honored to join the Hamilton Local School Board and serve this community whom I have been privileged to work with for so long,” expressed Ms. Parks. “After spending years as a team mom and athletics volunteer, I am looking forward to the prospect of working for our district in a slightly different way and am thrilled to get started.”
Ms. Parks holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from the University of Illinois at Chicago, as well as an Associate of Liberal Arts degree from Truman College. She is also a certified Mental Health First Aid Instructor.

Ms. Parks will be sworn in at the May 13th school board meeting and we are excited about the positive impact she will undoubtedly have on our school community.
