October's Teacher of the Month - Mrs. Fullen

Mrs. Fullen has taken on many leadership roles in our building, including team leader, department chair and representative to the Vertical Alignment committee. Mrs. Fullen shows grace in these roles by being direct, up-front and honest without coming across as overbearing.  As a teacher, she cares for each of her students.  She is known to give up personal time to reteach lessons and have personal conversations with students.  Mrs. Fullen keeps lines of communication open with parents and is the first to pick up the phone if there is even the slightest hint of conflict or concern.  These reasons are why I feel Mrs. Fullen is qualified to receive this honor. - Nominated by a fellow teacher
