7th Grade Girls Basketball vs. Liberty Union

The 7th grade girls basketball team played Liberty Union away last night. At the end of the first quarter it was tied 10-10. At half-time we were only down by 9 points. The girls fought hard till the end. Unfortunately we lost 54-30 to Liberty Union. Morgan Fannin lead the team with 12 points. Followed by Ziann Payne and Whitney Jones both with 7 points. Rachel Longbrake, Mackenzie Bornheim, and Lannie Hunt also scored for our team. Whitney Jones was 100% at the line shooting her foul shoots. She went to the line twice. Morgan Fannin made two very impressive three point shots. I am very proud of this team and how they fought hard till the last second. Looking for to Thursday against Fairfield Union at home.
