LEARNING AID OHIO
Governor DeWine announced ON Oct. 29, that the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities has partnered with Governor DeWine’s Children’s Initiative to provide financial support to families who may need supplemental assistance outside of what is provided by their child's Individualized Education Programs (IEP).
Learning Aid Ohio was created to connect tutors, aides, or in-home providers who can offer distance learning support for students with disabilities on IEPs. The primary goal of Learning Aid Ohio is to provide opportunities for meaningful educational experiences for students on IEPs learning full-time on a digital platform.
Learning Aid Ohio aims to provide supplemental learning support for students with IEPs during this unique school year.
Let Learning Aid Ohio connect you with providers to help you and your student navigate the world of online learning, specific to their individual needs, based on the curriculum their traditional teacher sets.
How does it work for families?
You can browse Learning Aid's list of learning providers to find the assistance you need for your family for free. Their learning providers have completed background checks, and are willing and able to offer supplemental support during this unprecedented time.
