Fitzgerald Selected as District's Director of Operations
Mr. Ryan Fitzgerald, current Athletic Director for Hamilton Local Schools, has been named the new Director of Operations for the district during the Board of Education Meeting on Monday, May 16, 2022. He will assume full responsibilities on August 1, 2022.
“Mr. Fitzgerald was the obvious choice for the Director of Operations role,” HLSD Superintendent Mark Tyler explained. “His years of experience and responsibilities in the athletic department closely mirror what the Director of Operations does. Ryan has spent time learning the Director of Operations role this past year, and I am confident he will be successful in this position.”
Mr. Fitzgerald began working at HLSD in 2006. He worked in the gifted intervention program at Hamilton Intermediate School until 2010 when he became the Dean of Students at the High School. Shortly after this he was moved to Assistant Principal of Hamilton Township High School, and then moved into the Athletic Director position in 2012. Mr. Fitzgerald obtained his Bachelor’s Degree and has a Masters of Education from Ohio State University and a Masters of Science in Educational Leadership from the University of Dayton.
Ryan has served on the OHSAA Board of Directors and the Central District Board of Directors.
