Seiler Selected as Assistant Principal for Hamilton Middle School

Mrs. Melissa Seiler, current math teacher at Hamilton Middle School, has been named the new Assistant Principal for Hamilton Middle School. She will assume full responsibilities on August 1, 2022.

 

“Mrs. Seiler is a long time, highly successful teacher for our district,” HLSD Superintendent Mark Tyler explained. “She has had an interest in being an Administrator for a while. She is willing and ready to step up to the challenge!”

 

Mrs. Seiler joined the Hamilton Local School District in 2009, where she began teaching fifth grade math. From 2009 to 2021, she taught at Hamilton Intermediate School. In 2021, she transferred to Hamilton Middle School as a math teacher. Mrs. Seiler earned a Master's of Education in School Administration from Ashland University. 

 

 "I believe that to become a great leader, you need to be on a great team, which is why I am honored and humbled to become part of the administration team at Hamilton Local Schools,” says Melissa Seiler. “I am looking forward to contributing to the success of both the students and our educators and I am excited to use my classroom skills, at a different level, to continue making school a positive place to be."

 

Mrs. Seiler’s communication, organization, and leadership skills will enable her to be a very effective Assistant Principal for Hamilton Middle School.
