Lyn Ford Visits HLSD to Celebrate Black History Month
Thank you to Affrilachian Storyteller, Lyn Ford, for visiting multiple buildings in our district this month to celebrate Black History Month.

Lyn Ford is best known for what she describes as "Home-Fried Tales" - folktale adaptations, spooky tales, and original stories rooted in Lyn's family's multicultural Afrilachian storytelling traditions. Lyn's stories are enriched with calls and response, choral response, rhythm and rhyme.

Our students truly enjoyed having Lyn visit! Check out this great promo video from our high school students to learn more about Lyn Ford: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1EsFWeC3oBYAwJjpb3IBbU9b3uaNQvtLY/view?usp=sharing
