Hamilton Middle School Girls’ Track & Field Team Wins First MSL Championship


Our HMS Girls’ Track and Field Team won the first Mid-State League Championship in the team’s history on Thursday, May 8, 2014. School records were shattered by Trannise Bridges in the long jump, Maddie Rollins in the mile, Teagan Littrell in discus, Bethany Robinson in the 400 meter dash, and the 4x400m relay team of Ashalee Chaples, Jessica Frey, Christine Shaw and Jazlyn Simon.


D'ayara Hurley and Essence Shackelford added to the points with 2nd and 3rd finishes in the 100 meter dash. Bethany Robinson also took home the top spot in the 200 meter hurdles. The 4x100m and 4x200m relay teams also ran away with first place finishes.

Congratulations to our Rangers for all their hard work this season.

Check them out at the state track meet on Saturday, May 24 at Dublin Scioto HS. Events begin at 9am.
