Beginning Wednesday, November 3, the wearing of face masks will be optional districtwide for all students, staff, and visitors while in indoor spaces, vaccinated or unvaccinated. This change has been determined after the Special Board Meeting on Friday, October 29.
Due to the federal mandate from the CDC, masks will still be required on all transportation until further notice.
The change to our mask requirement comes after the Ohio Department of Health released their updated School Quarantine Guidance, allowing us to keep close contacts in school as long as they wear a face mask during their quarantine period.
Our quarantine guidelines have been updated on our Ranger Restart guide, and we will be releasing more information around this change on Monday, November 1.
We appreciate your patience, and cooperation as we continue to adjust to the ever-changing world during the pandemic.
Thank you for your support in this effort,
Superintendent Mark Tyler
