Crisis Management Resources
Hamilton Local School District takes great pride in providing a safe educational and working environment for all students and employees. Our district, in accordance with Ohio Revised Code 3313.536, has established protocol for addressing serious threats and emergencies directed toward the safety of students and staff.
In the event of a serious threat or emergency, the impacted school(s) will initiate and follow protocols assigned in our district's Comprehensive School Safety Plan. Ohio law requires that our Comprehensive School Safety Plan be revised every three years. To maximize student and employee safety, the Hamilton Local School District reserves the right to revise this document as necessary within the three-year time limit required by the state. Our faculty and staff also review and practice our emergency procedures multiple times each year.
Our comprehensive school safety plan and site plans for each of our facilities has been delivered to the Ohio Attorney General's office, as well as to our local police and fire departments.
