Hamilton Pre-apprentice Program Featured In Ed Article
Central Ohio school districts are deeply committed to creating pathways that not only give students the skills they need for in-demand jobs after high school graduation but also respond to the economic needs of local businesses and their communities. Work-based learning experiences, such as pre-apprenticeships, are one way districts can offer rich, engaging opportunities to all students to help them plan for their future careers.
Recently, our district and the ESC of Central Ohio partnered with Obetz-based Capitol City Trailers, Inc. to create a welding pre-apprenticeship program that allows students to earn a 12-point industry credential.
