Varsity Softball wins big against Franklin Heights
  • The Rangerestwo pitchers didn't allow a single hit, as they defeated Franklin Heights 20-0 on Wednesday. Emma Peruzzi was the winning pitcher for the Rangers.  She surrendered zero runs on zero hits over four innings, striking out seven and walking zero. Welch threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen. Kama Neff led the Rangers to victory by driving in five runs. She went 3-for-3 at the plate. Neff rove in runs on a single in the first, a stolen base in the second, and a single in the third.The Rangers  scored eight runs in the second inning. The offensive firepower was led by Hannah Sobony who had a homerun for the Rangers to help get the win.
