In the 10 years I have worked at Hamilton Intermediate School, I have yet to meet anyone like Mrs. Beatty. She has an amazing ability to adapt her teaching instruction to conform to the different ways in which the teachers on her team conduct their classes. She collaborates with each of the three tested area teachers before lessons are created and taught, and is hands on in the creation of materials and activities.
One big quality that stands out about Mrs. Beatty is that she is always willing to help. She maintains amazing collaborative relations with both peers and students. Students see her as an adult that they can trust. She is always having conversations with students, helping them solve home and school issues or helping them finish school work. She gives up recess and lunch time multiple days a week.
Mrs. Beatty takes pride in her work. She has been, and continues to be, a positive and wonderful asset to our team.
