For January’s charity, we will be supporting BLOOM
Africa, a non-profit organization that works to improve the lives of orphans and
vulnerable children. Lesotho is a small
country in South Africa with an estimated 160,000 orphans in a country of just
2 million. To help keep the orphans and
children in Lesotho warm this winter, we will be collecting mittens and
gloves. Throughout the month of January,
bring in NEW mittens and gloves to donate to help support this cause. The grade level with the most donations will
get the banner hung in their hallway.
