Board Focused On Choosing Superintendent Following Miller Withdrawal
Earlier this week, Dr. James Miller withdrew himself from negotiations after being selected by the Hamilton Local School District Board of Education to fill the district’s Superintendent vacancy. His withdrawal now opens the position for the Board to choose another qualified candidate to fill the vacancy.

“Following much consideration, Dr. Miller informed us of his choice to remain in his current capacity as an administrator within the South-Western City School District, and we respect his decision. We want to wish him the best of luck in reaching all of his career goals, and thank him for showing interest in wanting to lead our district,” explained HLSD Board President Joe Jankowski.

“We had several very strong candidates interview for our Superintendent position, and, during our upcoming Board meeting, we plan to review our notes from those interviews to consider what our next action will be,” Jankowski shared.

Hamilton Local Board of Education’s next scheduled meeting will take place on Monday, January 15, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. in the Hamilton Local Education Center located at 775 Rathmell Road.
