Varsity Softball falls in last inning to Bloom Carroll
A walk-off left the Rangers on the wrong end of a 6-5 defeat to Bloom-Carroll on Friday. The game was tied at five with Bloom-Carroll batting in the bottom of the seventh with two outs. The Rangers fell behind by four runs in the sixth inning, but then tried to fight back. The  Rangers scored four runs in the failed comeback on a double by Abby Blosser, a single by Taylor Huffman, a single by Kama Neff, and a groundout RBI by Katie Souders.  Neff pitched a complete game allowing six hits, 3 home runs and striking out 3.  The Rangers had 15 hits that accounted for their 5 runs. The Rangers tallied 15 hits. Kyla Tyler, Blosser, Neff, and Huffman each racked up multiple hits for The Rangers. Tyler led the Rangers with four hits in five at bats.
