February's Teacher of the Month
Mrs. Bryden was nominated for teacher of the month in February. Mrs. Bryden not only has a passion for motivating students to learn, but does so in a manner that is relevant and meaningful. She spends a lot of time and effort differentiating lesson plans, assessing students’ knowledge, and creating materials that really help diverse learners grasp difficult content. Mrs. Bryden also spends much of her own personal time working with students during lunch, providing support to those needing additional assistance. With this being her first year working directly with special education students, she has gone out of her way to learn different co-teaching methods and ways these students learn, demonstrating she is a team player. These are a just a few reasons of why Mrs. Bryden is a true asset to Hamilton Intermediate School. Teachers and students both learn valuable knowledge when working with and beside her.
