Student’s Use Technology To Learn About Human Migration - Ms. Pelfrey's classes researched human migration patterns for countries in Africa and Asia. Students worked in pairs to find 3 reasons people migrated to and/or from their assigned country. Then, partners used Google Presentations to create slide shows. Partners shared the slide shows with one another so they were able to work simultaneously on presentations and edit each other's work. One student stated, “I liked working with a partner and our country was interesting.” Another student said, “The project was fun because we worked together creating a presentation instead just writing stuff on paper.”
