Not only is she an excellent math teacher, she shares her love of science with her students whenever possible. Over the past week, she has single-handedly planned and prepared the 3rd grade Theme Park Day, a rotation of activities designed to integrate science concepts into language arts and math skills. The students really enjoyed themselves. On top of her grade level duties, she co-chairs the Building Climate Committee and plans outings and activities for the staff including our annual Christmas Party. Diane is an awesome teacher and deserves to be recognized.” “Chris does an excellent job in the ISS room. He treats students with respect but insists that they are busy working while in his room. He consistently helps students with their assignments and provides reading materials to students when necessary. Chris also does an excellent job of communicating with teachers and monitoring student attendance.
