Hamilton Township HS Alumni Association Inducts Larry Waller (Class of 1960) into Hall of FameMr. Waller was a member of Hi Y, Future Teachers Association and the National Honor Society before graduating from Hamilton Township High School in 1960. He attended Ohio State University and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in 1967. He established the Waller Financial Planning Group in 1985 and served as the company’s president and CEO for many years.

He is a member of the Ohio State’s President’s Club and created the Waller Family Endowment for Lung Cancer research at the James Cancer Center along with his wife, Linda, before she passed away in 2011. He and his family also endowed a scholarship for athletics at Ohio State. Larry is the financial advisor for the South-Western City Schools Education Foundation, the recipient of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (Columbus Chapter) Leave a Legacy Award, named one of Money Magazine’s Top Financial Planners in America in 1987, taught Sunday School at the high school and adult level for 20 years and is a past president of the Grove City Kiwanis Club.

He has five children, 13 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and is currently married to Rebecca Wilder. The couple provides an annual scholarship to a high school graduate in Florida, where they make their home and are members of the North Naples United Methodist Church.
 
Mr. Waller will be honored during a Hall of Fame pre-game ceremony on August 29th when the Rangers play Columbus East in the first home football game of the 2014 season.
