HTHS Teacher of the Month

Mr. Max Hoyt
"Max Hoyt has been a great addition to the high school staff. I'm not sure if he actually leaves Hamilton Township on a daily basis because of his numerous coaching commitments. At the same time, this is probably why he is such an effective educator because he is able to build positive relationships in and out of the classroom. I recommend Max Hoyt for Teacher of the Month." - HT Staff

"Max is very deserving of this award.  He is the type of guy that will do anything for his students and co-workers.  I see in school and at football/basketball the relationships he has built with students.  They look to him for guidance and help on a regular basis.  It is great to work with Max and I truly think he represents what it means to be a team player." - HT Staff

"Max Hoyt is a true team player. The man coaches 3 sports. He will help with anything we need. He is here every morning before the sunrise preparing for the days lesson. Great guy to have on our team!" - HT Staff

"I nominate Max Hoyt. The kids are in love with him. They respect him as a teacher and as a coach. He knows what it takes to get the job done and adds his own personality to it which reaches even the most difficult student. I think he's a wonderful teacher and a wonderful person and deserves to be recognized for all that he does." - HT Staff

Hoyt commented, "I work with the best staff. Everybody is willing to help on a moments notice. I love my job and could not imagine working anywhere else. I would like to give special thanks to the entire Social Studies department (Including Patino and now Anderson) and especially Mr. Tyson for always keeping me on my toes and thinking about the next day or week. Sometimes coming to work does not even feel like work with the people around me."

"A typical day for me is arrive around 6:30-6:45 to get everything ready for the day. 7:20-2:15 teaching World Studies to freshmen and sophomores. After school either coaching football, basketball or track until practice is over which is anywhere from 4:40-5:30. At home I spend as much time as I can with my two year old son Sawyer, which usually consists of me running behind him picking up his mess and making sure he has not broken anything. -Thanks again." - Hoyt
HTHS Congratulates Mr. Max Hoyt for earning HTHS Teacher of the Month.
