Dropout Recovery Schools Provide Important Environment for At-Risk High School Students

The Alternative Academy is classified as a Dropout Recovery Conversion Community School. That means that the Alternative Academy serves a majority of students between ages 16 and 22 that are at least one grade level behind their age group and/or have experienced crises that significantly interfere with their academic progress. Through our program we are providing intervention and support to these students to keep them in school and help them earn the credits they need to earn a high school diploma.
