"I would like to nominate Jason Cryder as the Ohio Lottery Teacher of the Month. Jason works hard to provide high-interest and hands-on science lessons for his students. He helps students see the applications to real life so science becomes more meaningful to them. One of the highlights in fourth grade science is the day Jason does experiments with liquid nitrogen. Students are completely engrossed in the lesson from start to finish!
Jason also takes an active interest in the social-emotional well being of his students. He makes connections with students through lunch bunch and other small group activities. He has positive relationships with the parents of his students through open lines of communication. Jason continues to take an active role in the life of his former students as they get older by making himself available to check in on students who may need extra support in either academics or behavior. Jason is truly making a difference in the lives of our students, parents, and staff at Hamilton Intermediate School!” - H.I.S Staff Member
