Rangers For The Cure Team Coordinator Earns The 2011 Susan G. Komen National Volunteer of the Year Award

Recently, Carole Morbitzer was honored at the national Susan G. Komen for the Cure conference that took place in Fort Worth, Texas.  She received the organization's highest honor given to a volunteer.

Morbitzer was named the nation's "Outstanding Volunteer of the Year" during the annual ceremony.  She received this honor because of her 'tireless energy and unwavering passion' in the fight to cure breast cancer.  Carole leads our Rangers for the Cure race team by coordinating fund raisers, and organizing runners, walkers and volunteers for Race for the Cure festivities.

Learn more about Carole's story at the Komen Columbus website.
